If automation, then the right way. By chance, epcan gets in touch with d.velop AG – and senses the wind of change. With d.velop sign, d.velop offers a digital signature that is not only legally secure and runs in the browser without downloading, but also offers an API, i.e. an interface with a connection to epcan’s ERP system. In order to make automation via API as smooth as possible, the development departments on both sides are in contact at an early stage. “We coordinated everything through the short official channels,” says Waning, ”and that led to an extremely fast implementation. We had a few additional requests, so the whole thing only took a month and a half.”
We used to do applications and interviews on paper, by post. A huge process. Time-consuming and unnecessary. Initially, we ended up with Docusign. But that was nothing more than a simplification of the input process for us. We were not there yet. d.velop sign generates a digital contract for us, which our potential customer receives in real time. The Identity Provider App integrated into the platform supports you in this endeavor. You have the option of integrating different provider types and protocols such as LDAP or SCIM or working with OpenID providers from Microsoft, Google, etc.
Our APIs are stable. Breaking changes are introduced into the software within the framework of a defined application lifecycle, so that the API you use remains stable, provided that the product or product version is still supported by d.velop AG within the framework of your lifecycle.
