d.velop officially begins operations in Timișoara

Gescher / Timișoara (Romania), 02/04/2025 – d.velop Eastern Europe is the new operational entity launched in Timișoara by the German group d.velop, as part of its European expansion strategy. It becomes a key pillar in the company’s internationalization process, offering dedicated expertise in the development of group-level software products.

The new structure in Timișoara is led by Darius-Bogdan Luca, CEO and General Manager, an expert with extensive experience in IT management. Under his leadership, d.velop Eastern Europe aims to become a regional competence center, actively and creatively contributing to the development of the group’s most important products.

Timișoara’s position has strengthened in recent years as a software development hub in Central and Eastern Europe, thanks to a solid university ecosystem and its proximity to the DACH region. Romania also offers the advantage of compliance with European regulatory standards such as GDPR, ensuring data sovereignty and trust in operational processes.
